The Nice Show
The Nice Show features a limited edition of duct tape slippers
designed by class 7E as part of their intensive training at Free The Moon Space Program.
Location: Planet Earth,
50°20'50”N, 09°31’15”E About
For the Free The Moon Space Program, duct tape is an indispensable tool. It has played a crucial role in saving astronaut’s lives, for example by replacing a broken carbon dioxide filter during the Apollo 13 mission, fixing the Apollo 17 moon rover, or repairing various equipment during space missions. At the program's training station, situated approximately 205 meters above sea level on a schoolyard in Schlüchtern, Germany, we learn everything on the characteristics and proper use of duct tape in different emergency situations. An integral part of the program is the simulation of different extreme events to test our expertise: Imagine landing on the moon and suddenly realizing that you forgot to bring your slippers. What now? This situation requires us to apply strategic problem-solving techniques. Our astronauts in training gained valuable knowledge and essential skills to handle any unexpected challenge.
Note: Never leave the Earth without a roll of duct tape.
